🥇Nancy Ward (Nanye'hi), was my ancestral grandmother. Nancy Washington Legree was her granddaughter. Clemson University hid American History from the world.🫢

My grandmother Nancy Washington Legree (Top photo) was the granddaughter of the most beloved Cherokee female leader, Nancy Ward (statue).

For over half a century past emancipation, my ancestral great-grandmother, Nancy Washington Legree and family were held inhumanly enslaved at the home of the 7th Vice President of the United States, John C. Calhoun.

After the death of Thomas Green Clemson, the “credited” founder of Clemson University, the enslavement of my grandmother Nancy and family at Fort Hill Plantation, located in Clemson, South Carolina, was extended until the early 1920s.

After freedom finally came, my ancestors settled only minutes away from the Clemson University campus, in the Calhoun community of Clemson, as my entire family remained unaware of the true story of our grandmother Nancy, despite her persevering and living until the 1940s.

During this time, Clemson University promoted my grandmother Nancy’s picture and a manipulated storyline, as their main attraction of the story of Slavery at Fort Hill Plantation.

After my well-documented “Spiritual awakening” occurred during the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020, I was led by my ancestors to discover my grandmother Nancy’s long history of enslavement to the family of her hidden father, John C. Calhoun and later to Clemson University who had written stories paying homage to the memory of my grandmother Nancy.

The conspired Clemson University storyline featured my grandmother Nancy, as one of the first enslaved at Fort Hill Plantation, located on the grounds that would eventually become Clemson University.

In September 2020, only months after starting my nonprofit organization, The Men Of Color Having Answers Foundation (M.O.C.H.A.), I wrote a proposal to name an unnamed pedestrian bridge (HWY 123) in honor of the memory of a woman whom Clemson University had silently celebrated for decades, as the portrait of Slavery.

In October of 2020, the city of Clemson unanimously voted in favor of naming an unnamed pedestrian bridge in honor of Nancy Washington Legree but has failed to keep their word and officially name the bridge in dedication to the memory of my grandmother.

In spite of my passionate pursuit to officially recognize the publicized contributions of my grandmother Nancy, she was never honored by the city of Clemson or Clemson University, after she had given nearly 100 years of life to helping to establish the Clemson area for the elite.
Despite conducting several FOX News interviews, no one from Clemson University or the city of Clemson came forward to inform me or my family of the story of Vice President John C. Calhoun, regarding the creation of my grandmother Nancy.

Although I had successfully taken the necessary steps through city government in my attempt to recognize my grandmother Nancy, Clemson University, the city of Clemson, and other politically affiliated authorities, unjustly conspired to suppress and sabotage my story.

After facing a tremendous amount of racists opposition, due to the acknowledgment of a centuries-old truth, I then understood that Clemson, South Carolina, and a continued culture of the Confederacy were hiding a story much greater than John C. Calhoun being the father of my grandmother Nancy.

After bridging the connection that ultimately led me to the discovering that World-renowned Irish-born International Indian writer, James Adair was also my ancestral great-grandfather, I then understood why Clemson University and others in South Carolina have tirelessly conspired to unfairly discredit The Men Of Color Having Answers Foundation (M.O.C.H.A.).

It is because my ancestors precolonial history predates the arrival of Europeans to the Americas, and it does not involve the forced fictitious narrative of Black Americans arriving in America enslaved.

My grandmother NANCY WARD (Nanye'hi) derived from the largest most prominent Native American tribe in North America, as the Cherokees were organized under one principal chief, the uncle of Nanye'hi, Attakullakulla (Leaningwood).

The very deep history of my ancestors beginnings in America destroys the African American myth that falsely depicts millions of Black people coming to America enslaved.

Similar to how the same identified group of people in Clemson, South Carolina had several times dishonorably broken promises of the past that included the Hopewell Treaty and betrayed the Native Black Americans who had trusted their words, history proves that the very same immoral behavior has still hindered the progression of Black Americans in Upstate South Carolina.

As division amongst the black people who should rightfully be standing together, has been the outdated but effective strategy that still exists in Clemson, South Carolina.

WHO WAS THE LEADERSHIP AND WHERE WAS THE LAND THAT WAS DISTINCTIVELY IDENTIFIED IN THE HOPEWELL TREATY negotiated by my grandmother Nanye’hi and others ON NOVEMBER 28, 1785?

The city government of Clemson and Clemson University in South Carolina are both distinctively identified in the Treaty of Hopewell which was never honored.

The city of Clemson is 3 miles from Pendleton. The city of Seneca was once located on the Keowee before Clemson University and others washed away hundreds of acres of evidence of the truth and created man-made Lake Hartwell.

My great-grandmother Nanye’hi helped negotiate a treaty in Clemson that was never honored and the same system of dishonesty with the same agenda has proven to still be in place today!

Almost 250 years after the Treaty of Hopewell was signed, with a promise to keep European settlers from encroaching onto the inherited ancestral homelands of my Native Black American Cherokee family, the same government still illegally operates and is oppressively finding ways to Rob the Native Black Americans of impactful accomplishments within the community.

Cherokee was once an Independent powerful Black nation that included a sophisticated and sovereign government that the United States never officially recognized. The Cherokee were believed to be the leaders of the New World, and because Europeans had recently witnessed the power of the Moors and because the Moors were believed to have relocated to America, Europeans conquered through methods of trickery, theft, murder, manipulation of Religion, and SLAVERY. Europeans intended to create a White Nation, and over centuries of war, Europeans replaced Black Chiefs with white Captains of tribes who then took advantage of the people by mixing European blood to try and eliminate the Black race. To gain understanding, you must consider that the United States during this same time refused to acknowledge black people as equals, or persons.

There haven't been many principal chiefs (Presidents) of the entire Cherokee Nation, but my bloodline has produced 2 of the most respected Principle Chiefs in the history and they were BLACK MEN! Could have easily been a third if my grandmother Nanye’hi were born a man. American history would like for you to think that the Cherokee was only a small tribe, but my direct ancestors ruled the states of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, and parts of Virginia, Kentucky, and Florida. These states sound familiar for many reasons, but primarily because these states still have the largest Black population in America. That is because we were already here. YOU WERE A NATION!

I encourage all Americans to research the entire history of Nancy Ward (Nanye’hi) born (1738-1823) the first Beloved Woman, Political, and Spiritual Leader of the Cherokee Nation.

Nancy Washington Legree was the daughter of Cherokee Royalty!

As a result of my discovery of the Truth, Clemson University has unjustly discriminated against my organization, while taking strategic measures to ensure that the world remains of unaware of a truth that rewrites American history.
